Who We Are

Mason Family Eye Care was opened in downtown Mason by Dr. Glen Linsley in 1976 to serve the city and its surrounding communities. In 1979, Dr. Linsley’s brother Ed joined the team as an optician, beginning what would be a working partnership until Ed retired. Together the Linsley brothers prescribed and dispensed thousands of spectacles and contact lenses to patients in the Mason community and beyond.

In 2010, Dr. Glen’s eldest son Dr. Chad graduated from Ferris State University and became the practice’s second optometrist. Dr. Glen’s son, Brett, joined the organization as the Practice Manager in 2015. Together Dr. Glen, Dr. Chad, Brett and the staff of Mason Family EyeCare have developed an optometry practice that provides outstanding patient centered care .

In summer 2026 our practice moved to Lansing Street, just minutes from our current location and less than five minutes off US 127. Our friendly office staff continues to greet patients with a smile to determine how best to meet your visual needs.
